Fundraising and Care Coordinator
Felicia Owens began her homeschool journey after realizing her children’s needs weren’t being fully met in a conventional school setting. As a mom of three, she made the decision to create something better—an environment where her children could thrive, grow, and be supported for who they are. Her son, who has AuDHD, is smart, funny, and full of potential, and Felicia is passionate about helping him (and others like him) succeed in the right environment.
With a degree in Early Childhood Education, Felicia brings both knowledge and heart to everything she does. She has a natural ability to connect, communicate, and advocate—always making sure people feel heard, supported, and cared for. She is open, honest, and incredibly resilient, with a quiet strength that shows up in both big and small ways.
At The Village, Felicia plays a vital role in both the structure and the soul of the community. She plans and runs every fundraiser, coordinates outreach efforts, and helps ensure the co-op continues to grow and serve families well. But beyond the logistics, Felicia is often the one making sure no one slips through the cracks. When a family welcomes a new baby, faces an illness, or walks through a difficult season—she’s the one who makes sure someone shows up.
Meal trains, birthday cards, check-ins, and the little details that make people feel seen and supported—that’s Felicia.
Her faith is a central part of her life, guiding the way she serves, supports, and shows up for others.
