Community Relations and Family Resources Liason
Tiffany McElhannon is deeply rooted in community—both inside and outside of The Village. She serves as Director of Community Relations and Family Resources, bringing over 14 years of experience in education and a deep commitment to strengthening families and communities.
A dedicated homeschool mom of one and mother of five, Tiffany has taught every subject from Pre-K through 6th grade, giving her both professional expertise and real-life perspective. She holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Learning and Technology, and Educational Leadership, and is passionate about connecting resources, building relationships, and creating opportunities for families to thrive.
She is also the co-founder and CEO of Friends of the Community Upstate and is actively involved in organizing events and initiatives throughout Pelzer. Whether it’s community-building events, fundraisers, local markets, or service projects, Tiffany has a way of bringing people together and making things happen. Around town, she’s often known as the “town councilman’s wife,” but that title barely scratches the surface—she is a driving force behind many of the connections and opportunities that strengthen the local community.
At The Village, Tiffany helps build meaningful relationships, develop support systems, and ensure families have access to the resources they need. If there’s a need, she’s already thinking about how to meet it and who to connect. In addition to her leadership role, she also serves as a reading interventionist within the co-op, working closely with students to grow their confidence and ability.
Tiffany is passionate about creating spaces where families feel supported, connected, and valued, and she brings that vision into everything she does at The Village.
