Rebekah Paxton founded The Village after seeing firsthand that what was available wasn’t what families actually needed.
With a background in public education, she stepped into homeschooling after experiencing things she didn’t love—including her own daughter being bullied. When she started looking for a better fit among local homeschool co-ops in the Greenville and Anderson area… she couldn’t find it.
So she built it.
What started as a small group quickly grew into The Village—a homeschool co-op centered on real community, flexibility, and families actually enjoying where they are.
Rebekah is fun, bubbly, and just chatty enough that a quick conversation may turn into a full plan before you realize what’s happening. She has a natural way of making people feel welcome, seen, and like they belong almost immediately.
She’s a go-getter in every sense—flexible when needed, determined when it counts, and always moving things forward. Around here, she’s the one keeping everyone focused, organized, and headed in the same direction (whether we knew we needed direction or not).
Also worth noting: she is the mother of seven, which explains both her efficiency and her ability to function in what most people would consider mild chaos.
At the heart of it all, Rebekah genuinely cares—about the families, the students, and the kind of community The Village is becoming.
