Christian Apologetics Club for Homeschool Students in Upstate SC

Our Apologetics Club is designed to help students confidently understand, explain, and defend the Christian faith in a thoughtful, age-appropriate way. This class creates a foundation for lifelong belief, grounded in truth, logic, and Scripture.

Weekly study of Christian apologetics concepts
Age-appropriate curriculum for younger and older students
Group discussion and guided conversation
Real-world application of faith and reasoning
Encouragement to ask questions and think deeply

Younger students will explore foundational ideas through engaging, accessible resources such as The Case for Christ for Kids and The Case for Faith for Kids, while older students and teens will begin working through more in-depth material from respected Christian thinkers.

Depending on enrollment, students may be divided into two groups to ensure meaningful discussion and age-appropriate learning.

Apologetics for Younger Students (Elementary) – Building a Foundation of Faith

In this group, students are introduced to the basics of Christian apologetics in a way that is engaging, understandable, and encouraging. The goal is not just to give answers, but to help children begin asking the right questions about faith, truth, and the world around them.

Through guided reading and discussion, students will explore topics such as why we can trust the Bible, who Jesus is, and how we know Christianity is true. Lessons are designed to be interactive and conversational, helping children develop confidence in what they believe while keeping the tone approachable and supportive.

This group focuses on building a strong, early foundation so that as students grow, they are not easily shaken by doubts or challenges. By introducing apologetics at a young age, we help normalize thoughtful faith and create space for curiosity within a biblical framework.

Christian Apologetics for Teens and Middle School – Defending the Faith with Confidence

Older students and teens will engage more deeply with the intellectual and philosophical side of Christian apologetics. Using works from authors such as C.S. Lewis, J.P. Moreland, William Lane Craig, and Sy Garte, students will begin to wrestle with complex questions about truth, science, morality, and worldview.

This group is designed to challenge students to think critically and articulate their beliefs clearly. Discussions will address common objections to Christianity, the reliability of Scripture, the existence of God, and how faith intersects with culture and reason.

Rather than memorizing responses, students will learn how to process ideas, evaluate arguments, and engage in respectful, thoughtful conversations. The goal is to equip them not only to defend their faith, but to truly understand it—so that their beliefs become their own, rooted in both conviction and comprehension.
