The Village offers a homeschool pickleball club for students in Greenville, Anderson, and surrounding Upstate communities who just want to get outside, move, and have fun.
This is not a competitive program—just a relaxed, enjoyable way for kids to play and connect.
Pickleball is a fantastic sport for beginners—especially for kids—because it’s easy to learn, fun to play, and welcoming to all skill levels. The court is smaller than a tennis court, the paddle is lightweight, and the rules are simple, which means kids can start playing and enjoying the game right away without feeling overwhelmed.
It builds coordination, teamwork, and confidence in a relaxed, low-pressure environment—perfect for a homeschool club where the goal is connection and fun, not competition.
We meet bi-weekly at Mineral Spring Park in Williamston for:
Casual games
Practice and play
Snacks and social time
It’s a simple, laid-back way for students to stay active and spend time together outside of the classroom.
Pickleball Club will take place outside of normal co-op hours. Date and time will be determined based on student interest and parent availability.
Fee: $20
Minimum: 2 students within similar age brackets/skill levels.
