The Village Drama Club is an emerging homeschool theater and drama program for students in Greenville, Anderson, and surrounding Upstate communities.
This club is currently under development, with plans to grow into a creative space where students can explore performance, storytelling, and stage presence.
Our vision for Drama Club includes opportunities for students to:
Explore acting and performance
Build confidence speaking in front of others
Participate in skits, scenes, or small productions
Work together as a team
As the program develops, we hope to expand into more structured performances and creative projects.
Like many of our clubs, Drama Club will grow based on:
Student interest
Parent involvement
Available leadership
This means the direction of the club may evolve over time, creating a program that reflects the creativity and energy of the students involved.
Drama Club will be held partly at a parent's home and partly at Mineral Springs park so we can practice on an actual stage. Performances may be held at Pelzer First Baptist and elsewhere for kids to showcase what they learn.
Fee: $100 per semester
Minimum: 5 students
This is a great opportunity for students who want to help shape something from the ground up.
