The Village offers a creative writing club for homeschool students in upper elementary and older, serving families in Greenville, Anderson, and surrounding Upstate communities.
This club is designed for students who enjoy storytelling, imagination, and expressing themselves th n rough writing.
Students will learn the fundamentals of creative writing, including:
Story structure and idea development
Descriptive writing and voice
Character and plot creation
Journaling and personal expression
The goal is to help students grow in both confidence and creativity.
Throughout the club, students will:
Create and maintain their own writing journal
Work on original creative pieces
Share their writing with the group
Learn how to give and receive thoughtful feedback
This collaborative environment helps students improve while also encouraging creativity and individuality.
Creative Writing Club is designed for young writers of all ages who want to improve their storytelling skills, practice with other students who love the written word, and want to share their work with others who have similar interests.
Creative Writing Club is held at Erin’s home, creating a comfortable, relaxed setting for students to write and connect.
Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy:

Conversation with other co-op families
Students will need their own student journal. Worksheets, lessons and writing prompts will be provided.
Fee: $20 per student per semester
Minimum: 2 students
