Our Book Club creates a space where students can enjoy great books, share ideas, and grow in their love of reading within a welcoming homeschool community. Through thoughtful discussion and shared stories, students build both comprehension and connection.

Students will be grouped by reading level or age depending on participation, ensuring that each child is engaged with material that is both accessible and appropriately challenging.
In this group, students are introduced to the joy of reading through engaging, age-appropriate books and guided conversations. The focus is on helping children understand stories, connect with characters, and express their thoughts in a supportive environment.
Discussions are designed to be interactive and approachable, allowing students to build confidence as they share ideas and respond to what they read. Emphasis is placed on comprehension, listening, and participation, while keeping the experience enjoyable and encouraging.
This group helps young readers develop a strong foundation by making reading something they look forward to, not something they feel pressured to complete.
Older students and teens will engage more deeply with literature, exploring themes, character development, and the meaning behind the stories they read. This group encourages thoughtful discussion and helps students learn how to articulate their ideas clearly and respectfully.
Students will read a variety of works and participate in conversations that challenge them to think beyond the surface of the text. Discussions may explore worldview, author intent, and how literature connects to real life.
The goal is to help students become more thoughtful readers who can engage with ideas, analyze what they read, and confidently share their perspectives in a group setting.
Book Club will be held monthly at Erin's house for each reading level. Parents are welcome to stay for coffee and conversation.
Fee: $20 + price of books as we go
Minimum: 2 per reading level
