At The Village, community service is more than an activity—it’s a core part of who we are.
We offer homeschool community service opportunities for students in Greenville, Anderson, Pelzer, and surrounding Upstate communities, helping students grow through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
We believe that serving others helps students:
Develop strong character
Build compassion and empathy
Gain a sense of responsibility
Understand they are part of something bigger

Students at The Village participate in a variety of local volunteer and service projects, including:
Helping prepare meals through partnerships like Friends of the Community
Participating in community clean-up efforts around Pelzer
Volunteering at local events and service initiatives
Joining group service projects throughout the year
These are real opportunities to make a real impact.
One of the things that makes service at The Village unique is that families often serve together. Our students are able to work alongside their peers and family members giving back to local communities while building lasting relationships.
This creates a stronger sense of connection—both within the co-op and in the broader community.
